Fictional Narrative

Author: Just Simply Write

I think it's time
For you to show
A Fictional Narrative
You are the pro!

When you write
It’s up to you
Use imagination
Be creative too!

Brainstorm ideas
With all your might
Use an organizer
To help you write!

Start the beginning
Choose a story lead
Introduce the characters
And the setting indeed!

Include the problem
You need one so
Characters have feelings
Don’t you know?

I think you're done
What a leader
I hope the beginning
Hooked
your reader!

Next comes the middle
I said with a grin
Three or more events
Let the action begin!

Now here we go
You shouldn't wait
Add many details
Elaborate
!

Make sure the details
Are written throughout
Make them specific
I say with a shout!

Show some action
With adverbs and verbs
Describe with adjectives
And sensory words!

Write a simile
Make it fun
Try humor and suspense
You’re almost done!

Also in the middle
Haven’t you heard
Keep your story in order
So use transition words!

Last comes the end
A problem to solve
If you're having trouble
Get your teacher involved!

Write a strong ending
Do it now
Make your readers wonder
Make them scream "WOW!"

Read your story over
Make sure it’s clear
Is your story organized?
It does appear!

Your story is complete
So share with a friend
Read with expression
From beginning to end!
