Magazine and TV
There are advertisements
Look and see!
Now it's time
To persuade
So pick a topic
Right away!
First paragraph
State your belief
Or your opinion
Make it brief!
Record three reasons
Take a stand
Tell how you feel
I know you can!
Next three paragraphs
Restate each reason
Support it with facts
I'm not teasing!
Give examples
As you write
Include the details
Put up a fight!
Last paragraph
I say to you
Sum it up
Be creative too!
Repeat what you said
Use different words
Create a strong ending
We should confer!
Was persuasive writing
Difficult to learn?
If it was
Don't be concerned!
Before you know
You're a writing machine
Because you sound
So convincing!
