Simply Written Reader's Response Journal consists of 81 pages. It's a response journal for students in first, second and third grade.

The journal consists of 29 fiction and nonfiction organizers that focus on reading skills such as characters, setting, problem, cause and effect, main idea, predicting, details, sequencing, drawing conclusions, compare and contrast and much, much more. The organizers are followed by a lined response page. The response pages have ample lines for responding.

Also included... are 30 additional response pages for recording responses to literature, a list of 20 higher-level questions for a student response, a page of Comprehension Strategies, a page that lists the Definition Of Reading Skills and a page of Reading Prompts.
