Simply Written Story Journal consists of 88 pages. It's a unique and creative journal for first and second grade students.
The journal includes Nine Story Organizers to brainstorm ideas. With each organizer, you have a Writing Idea, a Story Guide, three lined pages to write a story and a Story Checklist.
In addition, it has a Contents Page to list titles and page numbers of written stories, Story Word Boxes from A-Z, two lined pages for students to record their own Story Words, a page of Story Leads, a page of Story Characters and Traits, a page of How to Use a Story Organizer and a Punctuation Chart. On the inside cover is a list of Simply Written Story Tips and an Author's Page.
Students can use this journal to write a first draft or it can be saved for their best work. It's a classroom tool that documents students' story writing throughout the school year. The journal can be shared during PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES as well as an AUTHOR'S TEA for family and friends.
